Playing tennis has never been easier.

The Eugene YMCA is one of the only Y's in the country that has indoor Tennis Courts. Enjoy Family Lessons, free drop-ins adult and junior programs, leagues and of course, court time to play singles and doubles.

If you add tennis to your basic membership, you have access to the Tennis Center. We have…

All this, along with the benefits and activities of the rest of the facility. For more information on any of our programs, please ask our staff. We’ll be happy to help and get you any program flyers.

Our Staff...

Our staff is headed up by USPTA certified professionals. We promise to provide tennis activities to all people at all skill levels in a fun, enthusiastic, professional, caring and supportive atmosphere. We will challenge your mind, nurture your spirit and exercise your body.

Our Director of Tennis, along with all our Tennis staff, are here to make your YMCA tennis experience the best it can be.

Court Attire...

Shoes and shirt are required in all areas of the facility except the pool. Please wear sturdy, “no- mark”, court shoes.

Below is information on reservations times and guidelines.

Making reservations…

	Members may book courts up to 7 days in advance. (Potential Members may reserve courts 2 days in advance.)
	Reservations are taken starting at 8:30 AM each morning. Phone calls will be taken first, then from those standing at the window, then messages left on Tennis Center voice mail.

Reservation limits…

We ask members to limit their advanced reservations to the following during a 7 day period.

	Families 6 (with only 2 Primetimes)
	Adults 3 (with only 2 Primetimes)
	Youth 3 (only Primetime option is 8:00 PM)

Court times…

Court time are one hour and 15 minutes.

6:00 AM	7:15 AM	8:30 AM	9:45 AM
11:00 AM	12:15 PM	1:30 PM	2:45 PM
4:00 PM	5:30PM	6:45 PM	8:00PM	9:15 PM

No Shows and Cancellation Policy…

	It is compulsory to give at least 2 hours notice when canceling a court reservation. (This gives us enough time to notify those on a waiting list.)
	Going to be a little late? Please let the desk staff know and we will hold the court for you. If you are more than 15 minutes and don’t call, you lose the reservation.
	Members may not reserve back to back courts during prime time.
	A member calling to reserve a court may only reserve one court during a particular prime-time.

Parking...

We have a lot at each at each end of the building. We also have 20 marked spaces at SEHS, across the street. Please get a parking sticker from our staff. Just a reminder, please make sure to watch street sign time limit postings!

Ball Machine...

We have 2 Playmate ball machines available for $3 per use or $20/10 uses.

Ball machine etiquette… (Need help, just ask!)

	Please check out extension cord for the machine at the Desk.
	Please clear court of all balls, behind the curtain too!

Guests...

Each membership gets 3 guest passes as part of the Getting Started package when joining the Y. These may be used to bring guests to play tennis or use the main facility. More guests?
