Y Supports CASA OF LANE COUNTY in Back-to-School Event
Since 2016, the Y’s volunteer-led TOGETHERHOOD™ effort has helped collect supplies for CASA’s (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Annual Back to School Supply Drive, supporting local kids in foster care. Many of our community’s foster kids start the school year without some of the most fundamental supplies, like socks and pencils. CASA’s event helps ensure these kids have a great start to the year while also easing the financial burden on foster families.
Thank you to all of the Y members who helped by volunteering their time or making a donation for this important event, and a special thank you to Lauren McGinnis for leading our Togetherhood effort once again.
