First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification
Course Date: Sunday, March 2
Course Times: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Registration Deadline: Friday, February 28
Who: Those 16 years and older who have a current American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification or equivalent certification.
Cost: $240 for Y Members / $250 for Community Members
The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses, select Skill Boosts and Bloodborne Pathogens Training.

Learning to Care for Kids

Babysitter's Training Certification
Course Date: Sunday, March 16
Course Times: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 12
Who: Those 11 years and older
Cost: $120 for Members - $130 for Community Members
In this Red Cross Babysitter's Training, you will learn how to:
- Supervise children and infants
- Perform basic child-care skills such as diapering, feeding and dressing
- Choose safe, age-appropriate games and toys
- Identify safety hazards and prevent injuries
- Care for common injuries such as burns, cuts and bee stings
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Find and interview for babysitting jobs
