PlayZone & KidZone

Age-appropriate drop-in child care rooms

Included in Family Membership

The Eugene Family YMCA offers engaging drop-in child care zones where youth from 6-weeks- to 10-years-old can explore a variety of age-appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment, fostering both fun and learning.

PlayZone and KidZone provide dynamic spaces for youth to participate in supervised play, encouraging social interaction and creative expression while their guardians utilize the Y's facilities and services.

PlayZone
Ages: 
6-weeks to 4-years-old
Hours: 
Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
Capacity:
6- to 12-months-old: Up to 4 youth at a time
1- to 4-years-old: Up to 20 youth at a time
24 youth total

KidZone
Ages:
5- to 10-years-old (must be potty-trained)
Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
Capacity:
30 youth total

Please note:

• PlayZone and KidZone are available to families with an active Eugene Family YMCA Family Membership. Interested in a membership? Please click here!
• Youth can use the KidZone or PlayZone once per day for up to two hours.
• No outside food or drink allowed, except for infant bottles.
• The Zones are drop-in only. No reservations required.
• The adult member (18+) on the family membership must remain at the Eugene Family YMCA’s Don Stathos Campus or  Tennis & Pickleball Center while their youth is in the Zones. The adult member must sign in, state their location and indicate if they will be using more than one location in the facility. 
• Parents and adults (other than YMCA Youth Development staff) are not allowed inside the rooms. 
• When weather permits, the Zones have access to a private outdoor playground.

• Our YMCA only offers drop-in childcare for members with an active Eugene YMCA Family membership.  At this time, we do not accommodate nationwide members or day pass users.
