COVID-19 Emergency Childcare

Information and Registration Instructions

Working in collaboration, your city governments, school districts, the Y and other childcare partners are providing emergency childcare services during the COVID-19 crisis. If you qualify as an emergency or essential worker, you may register your child/children here: REGISTRATION (NOTE: When registering, please refer to this STEP-BY-STEP guide, and if possible, register from a desktop computer instead of a mobile device.)

This service is only offered to healthcare, first responders and essential workers at this time.

The programs at the YMCA, Holt, Meadow View, South Eugene and Willamette High School are FULL with waiting lists.

For Emergency Child Care Providers with openings in our area - Contact 211.

Programs will strictly adhere to all mandated safeguards from the state; this includes recommended childcare ratios. Available spots reflect the possible staff to child ratios.

Programs will practice social distancing, regular hand washing and general sanitization. All youth will require a temperature check prior to entering the program. This will help keep all children and staff safe to the best of our ability.

You will receive a Registration Confirmation that looks like a receipt. Prior to the start of Monday's programming, you will receive an email with instructions and overview of the childcare programming from your site's organization (remember, there are many partners working to provide childcare, so depending on where your child/children are registered, that dictates who's providing the care).
