Join us in welcoming Cascadia Mobility, PeaceHealth Bikes, LTD and Lane Council of Governments (LCOG) to the Y to share information about using alternative transportation in Eugene!

If you're curious about riding one of the blue PeaceHealth bikes, riding the bus, staying safe while walking or bike in the dark, or anything else, stop by their tables in the lobby on Monday, November 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. and chat with their talented staff. You'll likely learn something new AND share a laugh!

As the evenings become darker, the City of Eugene, City of Springfield, Lane Council of Governments, Safe Routes to School, and Cascadia Mobility are distributing free safety lights for walking and biking. Grab free bike lights and high visibility gear!

The annual Be Safe, Be Seen Campaign focuses on collaboration with local service agencies, ensuring direct delivery of transportation safety materials and breaking down barriers to safe night travel.

Did you know? Studies have shown that wearing reflective gear or a light can increase visibility from 500 feet at night compared to just 55 feet away when wearing dark colors with no reflective gear or lights!

Hope to see you there!
