We hope this message finds you enjoying the warmth and joy of the holiday season. As we reflect on the year and look ahead, we feel inspired by the energy, enthusiasm and commitment our members bring to this community.
We’re writing today with exciting news for the new year! In November, our CEO Brian Steffen reached out to share insights about the challenges we’ve been facing and to invite your input via a survey. Your responses were nothing short of amazing! Hundreds of you shared thoughtful feedback about how and when you use the Y.
Thanks to your input, we are thrilled to announce that beginning January 2, 2025, we will be expanding our hours at the Don Stathos Campus!
Our new hours will be:
- Monday through Friday: 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
(An extra half-hour earlier and later each day) - Saturday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
(An extra hour earlier and later) - Sunday: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
(An extra hour earlier)
This expansion is part of a pilot project designed to provide greater access for all our members, particularly those who need to visit the Y outside of our current hours. We will regularly evaluate these new hours to ensure they effectively meet your needs and align with our mission to serve our community.
Your survey responses, member feedback and check-in data played a vital role in shaping this decision. We’re grateful for your candid thoughts and for sharing what’s most important to you.
In addition to expanding our hours, we’re continuing to explore other ways to improve your Y experience. This includes additional equipment, refined programming and community education on best practices for sharing our spaces. Keep an eye out for more updates from Brian in early January.
